Biography
​
Sherrie Dunning has been an education for over 25 years,
she has her Masters in Education with a concentration in Youth Development.
She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Social work.
​
She is an educator, compassionate dedicated, loyal and an advocate who understands the needs for our people. She is willing to network by building strong relationships with agencies, which provide resources for our neighborhoods.
She has acquired her Certified Social Work certificate. She has merged together teaching and social services enabling the two areas as one effective tool. She has excellent problem solving, mediation, leadership, effective communication, negotiation skills. She has served as a director, teacher, counselor, educational coach, family advocate, school social worker, child guidance, outreach worker, preschool, health and nutritional worker. Also, she is an exemplary manager.
She demonstrates exceptional decision making skill as a Social and Education Service Manager,Management, Administrative, and Human Resources. She connected the Family-Community- Partnership services by implementing programs which emphasizes special needs, social, emotional, mental, and physical developments. She creates infant and adolescent assessment programs. Eventually, she did oversee adult, residential, transitional and mental health programs.
